The hips of this skirt have about half an inch of stretch, but the waist does not.
It's an OK skirt. The mostly-nylon cloth feels very cheap and I won't be able to wear it with leggings because it will ride up. It's also tight on me. It fits at the waist but I do have kind of large hips for my waist size, and it stretches. I might pass this skirt onto someone smaller-hipped.
I just got my skirt, and it is great. But, I am a little disappointed with the buttons; one fell off as I was taking the skirt out of the package. The buttons do not seem to be sewn on too great. And the material is a little different, it will take some getting use to. Otherwise, the skirt length is great, right to the knees, and its a nice look. And it is a lovely tribute to Michael Jackson, since it does have a military look to it. R.I.P. Michael Jackson!
