I FINALLY got asked out on a date by this beautiful man that I am horribly in love with, you know, from afar. Well, anyway, he arranged a date for us in a wooded, shady park. The weather was a perfect kind of room temperature and I had no idea what to wear...Until a knock sounded at the door of my apartment and I clack clack clacked over wearing only a dressing gown and cute heels with little pink bows on the top. It was the mailman, and he had a package for me. I couldn't remember what I should have been expecting in the mail, but all I knew was I had a good feeling about it and couldnt wait to open it. I signed the slip and the mailman handed it over to me and I ripped it apart much like a kid on Christmas morning. It was.... The Little Sweetie Skirt. MY Little Sweetie Skirt. My obvious outfit of the day stared me in the face. It was perfect for my dream date with my dream man. I paired it with a light pink blouse and faux leather jacket. I thought I looked a little like Jane Austen would if she was around today. Very romantic, but at the same time with obvious gumption and confidence and a little bit of bad girl cool. Anyway, the 'dream' man turned out to be not so dreamy after all, and I left him in the park while I walked off in my fabulous new skirt and cute little ankle booties. Talk about a changed woman! I felt like a woman, fierce and fabulous and completely my own, and all it took was a surprise in the mail and a marvelously dreamy skirt edged with lace...

I wore this skirt to my bridal shower and it was perfect! It is a darling skirt! :)
