I bought this skirt because I fell in LOVE with the pattern, colors and intricate detail of the waist band. I am 5'7,130 pounds, pear-shaped, ordered a small and found that this skirt was extremely flattering. The waist band hugs my waist perfectly and goes to about mid-thigh, so not short at all! If you are worried about it being tight around the thigh area, do not fear, there is a small slit in the back allowing for more stretch when you sit down and move. It looks great with tight and loose blouses and you can wear it casually or with heels to work!

I have thick hips and thighs and still found room in the skirt to move around in. I am usually a large in skirts but opted for the XL and was happy with my decision because it fit perfectly!. The pattern is beautiful and the length hit right at the knee (I'm 5,3). Paired this with the Dove Tail Blouse and got many compliments. Overall very happy with the purchase!
