This skirt is A-MA-ZING. Eye-popping amethyst color, beautiful heavy-ish satin fabric and a crinoline to boot. It fits quite high and is quite small in the waist so I am glad that I opted for one size bigger and took the large. I am 5'6 and weigh about 130 lbs. The skirt goes almost to my knees so I think it will look best with heels, but I will have fun playing around with the look. So happy I bought it!

I originally ordered this skirt in a size small, but it was waaaay too small for me! So I sent it back and got one in medium, and it fits beautifully (I'm 5'2, 120-125 lbs.). I love the color and the fabric. I actually cut the layer of tulle or whatever it is out from the inside, since I found it to be too poofy. Now it lies a little flatter and it's absolutely perfect. My only complaint is that the zipper curiously gets stuck in the middle, and it takes some work to get it up or down all the way. This isn't a fluke, because I noticed that the same thing would happen with the zipper on the small skirt I sent back. Maybe that type of zipper just tends to stick? Anyway, overall a very good buy.

This is such an adorable and surprisingly versatile skirt. I've worn it to a party, on a date to the movies and even to work. It's extremely feminine and the color is gorgeous.
