These shorts are TERRIBLE! The fit is loose and quite comfy, but the fabric wrinkles really badly and very obviously as soon as you sit down and the accent cuffs along the bottom are poorly done causing them to either wrinkle or 'puff out', which can be neither cured nor improved by ironing. The back pockets are also very poorly constructed, they are 'sewn' into the shorts, but in such as way that they will start to unstitch/unravel from the corners leaving you with unsightly holes that can't be mended on either side of the flaps. In terms of care, HAND WASH SEPERATELY, these bleed A LOT of dark dye, even in cold water, and be prepared to iron, they don't dry well in shape and really need to be ironed every time you wear them (whether you've washed them or not) The only good thing I can say about these shorts were that the team from Modcloth were fantastic, I live internationally and they sent me a replacement pair, free of charge, straight away when I complained to save me having to return post them. Alas the second pair I have received were just as badly constructed as the first! These are badly constructed, very time consuming to take care of and wear poorly. Dissapointing.

The fabric is very soft and slightly see-through. It'd be nearly impossible to wear panties under these without them showing. It'd be great to have these in a sturdier fabric. That being said, my husband ADORES them on me.

Really cute comfy shorts in soft, light weight cotton, nice fit, not too tight in the crotch or the bum but not so shapeless that they ride up. Lovely and cool for summer and sit nicely over tights for winter/spring.
