I was a bit hesitant to go for the balloon skirt style but this dress was super cute so I went for it and I am so glad I did! I am 5' 4" and a bit bustier and curvy but this dress looked fantastic on me! I am a teacher and wore it with black leggings and ankle boots and a chunky necklace and I was both hip and appropriate. Two thumbs up!
This is a really cute dress. I really love the pockets and how the skirt has that extra ruffle at the waist that makes it look like separate pieces. I agree that it fits somewhat small, but I was able to slip it on with no problem. I just untied the string and there is a tiny bit of stretch in the material to slip in. I'm somewhat small on top (small in shirts and a 32B for bust), so I can imagine a girl with a bigger bust, or bigger than a medium shirt on top would have a problem getting it on. I bought a medium, and it fits perfect. The material of the skirt is a bit shimmery, which I wasn't expecting. But still really cute. It is poofy on the bottom, being a balloon skirt and all, but still really cute. The material is also better than I thought it would be. The top is a bit thicker than I was expecting. The skirt is also nice and thick and seems very durable.
Fits very small. NO give, however there is a hidden zipper on the side that might have helped. Super cute though!!
