I am used to australian/uk sizes. so ordered a size 4 to convert to an Aus size 8. i probably could have gotton away with a size 2. Its very beautiful fabric. However if your busty (32dd) and leggy, this dress shows off both. The slit at at top is very deep and the skirt is quite short. I am 5'2 and it sits a couple of inches above my knees. If that is the look you are going for then this is perfect for you! my personal preference is to focus on one feature. so not for me. It really is a gorgeous fabric and colour though.
I just got this dress in the mail, and I am very pleased. I am 5'4" and 120 lbs and the size 4 is perfect. It's a lovely material and very well made.
I received this dress today and I do quite like it. However, there are some altercations that I need to make. For reference, I'm 5'3-5'4, petite, and a 32 A. When I took the dress out of the wrapping, I was intrigued by how beautiful the coloring was, and how sturdy the material felt. Putting it on, it looks good, but the waist could have been a tad tighter, and the top part was noticeably large. The slit in the middle kept riding up/moving out of place, but I suppose I could blame that on my small chest. I'm normally a 2 in dresses, so I order a 2, but definitely should have gotten a 0. All of the mod cloth items I've bought seem to run a bit large, though. I'd say, if you're , around 5'3-4 and have a chest larger than a 32 A but smaller than a larger D, order your regular size. If not, I'd say size down, because the chest area is just a bit too lose. Don't have time to exchange as it's for a banquet, so I'll just have to alter it!
