Arcade Parade Necklace
Prepare yourself for a flood of nostalgia! When I was in the first grade, my neighbor bought a new computer, and gave his old Commodore 64, along with a joystick and three games, to me and my brothers. One of these games was Pac-Man. From my first thrilling attempt, I was hooked! This whimsical and ultra-unique necklace by Monserat De Lucca dramatizes a Pac-Man who has just consumed a power pellet and gained the temporary ability to consume those ghosts. Here, Blinky, Pinky, and Inky have reversed direction in an attempt to flee! Since this piece is made out of brass, it will develop a natural patina over time - you can polish it to restore its luster, or let it age naturally. Each pendant is approximately 1.25 inches tall, and parades along a 29 inch long chain that secures with a lobster clasp closure. This necklace is really cool and unique. However, it was a lot bigger than I expected it to be (I thought it'd be half the size) and the chain is long and falls in an awkward spot (right below my chest). I shortened the chain about 2 1/2 inches and it looks much better. Definitely a conversation starter, but be warned about its size, it's a statement piece for sure.
