I don't think it is very accurate to refer to these as "tights". Tights are generally more durable, and you typically don't have to worry about getting a run. These are more funky stockings. They look utterly amazing on, but they run really easily. I didn't even make it out the door on the first-wear without getting a run. If you are ridiculously careful with your stockings, and your style is out of the ordinary, these are the stockings for you. Otherwise, they aren't worth the price.
