I wore this octopus out with a group of friends, and everybody (even the guys) complimented this necklace or asked me where I got it. Even a random person at the bar remarked, "Nice cephalopod!" The size is large enough to get attention, but not so big that it overwhelms your decolletage. I ordered the antique gold color, so I can't speak for how the silver looks like in person. The shape and detail of this piece look great in the gold finish. This necklace suits a night out on the town, as well as a day in the office. I couldn't be any happier!

I think the reason that I'm all over this necklace is because every time I wear it I think about Johnny Depp and I am instantly in a good mood. I'm a lonely cubicle rat so anything that can help me to day dream about being rescued by my sexy swashbuckler is a good thing. Did I mention that I get complimented on it none stop? True story.
