I got this necklace to honor my own world travels, so I was delighted to see a globe charm! I gave it four stars only because I like the concept so much. My charm does comes off - because it falls off. I use a pair of pliers to pinch the connecting ring close but it's not a seamless fix and it still comes off at times. Also, the charm has a big slit in it where the globe most alines with the gold ring orbiting it, so while the charm does turn about a half-turn, I don't want it to move because then you see the slit. These are all things I can live with though and I'm still very fond of my necklace.

I love this necklace so much...I'm not sure if mine is a little different than everyone else's, but the pendant can be removed from the chain, and the globe does turn around. It's not going to rotate while it's just hanging there, but if you want to pick it up and turn the globe around in the frame, you can. I gave it four stars for kind of a silly reason: the land masses are too abstract for my tastes. I want them to be shaped right! I'm probably the only one who would care about that, but, what can I say, I love maps! :) Other than that picky complaint, this is a five-star necklace.

I love this necklace. Only trouble is, it doesn't come off the chain! I like to be able to use the chains for different things, and I have another pendant that would look great on this chain. Oh well, it's really cute anyway.
