Is it strange that I was looking for an item like this randomly one day and the very next day I saw it here on ModCloth? I have mine in gold and I literally love it to bits. It looks great whether you're dolling up for a night on the town, getting ready for class or stuck in an airport after a transcontinental flight and are trying to salvage the mess that is your hair afterwards. My only complaint is that after a while the black elastic in the back is starting to go, but that's probably only because I wear it constantly.

I got this in black as a free gift, and it was probably my favourite item in that particular shipment, not gonna lie. It blends in great with my black hair, and looks very classy and simple, and is comfortable. The elastic did snap from the velvet bit after two weeks of use (the other end is starting to go too), but it's not really much trouble to sew the ends back together. I still love this accessory enough that I might go ahead and buy another just in case.

I have this headband in black, and I love it. It stays put (except maybe when doing spins in dance class, but a couple clips can fix that!), and isn't too tight. Noticeable, but still subtle.
