This dress is great! I am 5'4, 36D/DD and the medium fits me fantastically. It comes to a perfect length maybe a couple inches above the knee, but really tasteful. The top is a little "baggy", but that's the style of this dress and it really looks great that way- esp given the cinched waist- and I'm busty so it's nice for me. It's very flattering. The colors are beautiful, the fabric feels really nice on and it is nicely made, with a liner under the skirt. The elastic waist actually works great, and the tie is super cute. I absolutely love this dress!
I ordered this and the Clairvoyant dress recently and just got them in the mail. I love them both! This dress fits perfectly and is a gorgeous, satiny, lightweight fabric perfect for summer! I can totally see me pairing it with some cute flats or gladiators during the day or some hip booties or pumps for night. An added bonus is the lined skirt which was a pleasant surprise as I must not have read the description fully. I ordered a M and it's perfect, though I am fairly busty (34D) and of average height (5'5"). My only concern is the length as it hits a few inches above the knee which I'm not used to, but it's totally workable and would pair well with tights or leggings. Also, a word to the wise, the arm holes are large leaving the bra exposed, but nothing a light cami underneath can't fix. Overall a gorgeous dress that I totally recommend! Thanks Modcloth! :-D
This dress is *much* baggier than in the picture. I'm 5'2 and 112 lbs so I got the small, but the top looks like a giant bag on me. It would probably look better on someone taller. Really key, though, is that the dress isn't actually tie-cinched; it's a thick elastic waist with a sewn-in nonfunctional tie. This definitely contributes to making the dress look frumpier than it otherwise could have.
