I got this dress specifically for an office Christmas party, and it got tons of compliments. I would definitely say get a size larger than what you think it will be, as the material is kind of clingy. When I first got the dress, I was afraid it would look cheap because the material seemed like t-shirt material, but when I put it on, it sure didn't look like a t-shirt! The only complaint I have, and it's just a teeny-tiny one, is that I wish the black belt stayed as flat as it looks in the picture. It does tend to roll up a bit and looks narrower, but a more enterprising and patient person than myself could probably put a well-placed stitch in a couple places and solve that problem. I think this dress has the duel benefit of looking good on a skinny person by adding implied curves where needed, while also being able to look good on a curvier girl because of the placement of those frilly red side drapes. Anyway, good value for the $$$ spent!!!
