When this arrived in the mail, I was so excited to read it! Once I did start reading it, the charm wore off. As the other reviewer said it doesn't help with my wardrobe. It just shows how women dressed in the past.

I got this book out of curiosity because I thought it would be interesting. Well, it certainly is that. However, virtually none of the information in the book is actually relevant to my own life considering how drastically styles have changed since the first half of the twentieth century! I was kind of hoping for something I could actually use in my own wardrobe... However, if you just want a book that will give you insight into how women dressed way, way back in the day (and how pretentiously snobby Christian Dior can come across), this is the book for you.
