As soon as I saw this product appear on the site, I knew I had to have it. I drink tea every morning, and am completed infatuated with cats. I even have a black cat with green/yellow eyes! I was thrilled when my boyfriend bought it for me as a Valentine's Day gift, but less than thrilled when I got it out of the box. As I was taking it out, the spoon broke. Just like that. The torso snapped off right under the arms. I contemplated returning it, but didn't want my boyfriend to be disappointed that his gift broke. So, I tried to glue it with Epoxy. Once, twice, three times the charm? I thought I had it on securely the third time, but when I tried to use the spoon to actually stir my tea, the epoxy became unbound from the clay and its head popped right off again. Now the spoon sits (glued a fourth time) as decoration only. Also, when washing the mug, and trying to be extra careful, my dad let it slip and it chipped. So now I have an adorable mug with a non-functioning spoon and a chip that is now stained the color of tea. It's still cute, but I wish it had been more durable.

I love this, but just as someone else said, the spoon broke. I was washing the mug and set the spoon down and it just snapped in two places. Glue of any kind simply doesn't work. The mug is great though.

I received this mug from a friend as a gift a few months ago. It was perfect because I love cats and I drink tea a lot, and I was just ecstatic to see the little spoon that went with it! I use it a lot for drinking tea every day and sometimes hot chocolate. It's definitely a cute addition to my kitchen! I love using it when I get the chance.
