Gold Standard Sunglasses

I love these sunglasses. I get compliments on them everywhere I go. I think there is an appeal to having much of your face covered by a stylish pair of glasses in the summer and these glasses are so rad and retro! They work with many different looks, like movie-star-palm-springs-getaway, rocker-chic-evening-wear, preppy-retro-school-girl, and dang do they look good over champagne at brunch. I lost mine at one of my favorite DC cafes and I'm about to buy another pair cause they are just that cute. They don't get scratched up easily, and they look at a lot more expensive than they actually are, which is a huge plus.

So i purchased these glasses a few months back and despite my boyfriends dislike for gold i rocked them when ever and where ever. My face and those glasses were ment to be. However, on a hot summer day on a beautiful lake, my mother and I got into a playful water fight. I had left the glasses on a raft and in a moment they were gone. They rest in peace now at the bottom of a lake along with my extreme disappointment. They were truly the greatest pair or sunglasses that ever graced my face. On a positive note i am proud to say that i will again invest in this pair of these glasses because the price is right and the style is uncompromisable. So i feel the thing that i learn from my first pair of Gold Standard Sunglasses is fight for your accesories not your family. :D
