Who are you?
I'm Joe. I'm the oldest member of the ModCloth team and the second tallest. I've lived in & around Pittsburgh my entire life and love this city with all my heart.

What do you do at ModCloth?
I'm the graphic designer at ModCloth. I design the homepage every week, the newsletters you get in your email, illustrate designs for t-shirts & such, and a whole lot of other great stuff! I also consume ridiculous amounts of coffee, work insaane hours and routinely get pwnt at beanbags. I will win the trophy back from Lindsay one day though.

What do you like about working at ModCloth?
It's such a great place to go everyday! Aside from absolutely loving the work I get to do, I spend my days with a team of people that are wonderful to work with, not to mention the fuzzy 4-legged employees that occasionally stop by my desk for a scratch behind their ears.

Also, how awesome is it to have a marketing meeting in the afternoon then be playing Rock Band or watching Project Runway with the same people that evening? "Life is good" is an understatement.

What are your other interests & hobbies?
Outside of work I'm an artist, you can find some of my work at jodeeferrari.net. I've done a little bit of illustration and publishing in the indy comic realm, and have a couple projects I'm hoping to see thru sooner rather than later. I like screenprinting and occasionally do block printing as well. I'm a sci-fi freak, play video games whenever I can find the time, read as many design, fashion and crafty blogs as I can get my hands on (hey, it's work related, right?) , and am obsessed with Project Runway. (as of this moment, I'm ranked #23 overall out of 6,477 on the fafarazzi.com Project Runway fantasy league!)

Depends if I've had any caffeine, enough caffeine, or too much caffeine!

Favorite ModCloth item
While my wife could give a list of things she loves from ModCloth, until we start carrying clothes for guys I'll have to say it's  the Red Robo-Alarm Clock! I have one that lives on my desk and keeps me company through the long days.

Nicknames?
In third grade I was "Joe the shmoe with the big fat toe you can smell all the way from Idaho". Fortunately that didn't follow me into my adult life. Most recently I was known as "deef" or "deefer" to my students when I was a design teacher. I go by the name "Jodee Ferrari" in my artistic endeavors, because over the years people mistakenly mashed up my first and last name. It sounded good so I went with it.

What else would you like to tell our customers about yourself?
Pizza is life, everything else is just toppings.
