Big Fish Umbrella

Carrying this bright and sturdy umbrella will make you the prettiest fish in any pond.  We were so entertained by the variety of happy goldfish, including the Calico and Fantail, swimming along the large dome canopy, we almost didn't notice its sturdy framework and metal crook handle!

This umbrella is so cute! I plan on being the only girl around here with one! It's been raining over here for about a week straight (just ended as I got the umbrella, go figure!) The dust is supposed to be there. perhaps if the person who washed it off, hadn't, it wouldn't be sticking to itself. Your going to use it in a wet environment anyways. Aside from that you should take care of your umbrella, that means trying to let it dry before you fold it up (especially if it's plastic, come on!) The umbrella is deep too, one of the deepest one's i've used. And if I happen to have a partnet underneath it there is enough room to accommodate! I feel like i'm swimming in a sea of goldfish! They cheer me up even on the wettest of occasions! My only complaint is that mine was slightly bent uppon arrival at my residence. No worries though! some good ol' elbow greese (from a larger more muscular human) fixed that in a flash.

This umbrella is adorable, quite deep, and well worth it. It is a little on the fragile side as it is entirely plastic, but if you just need to keep the rain off and look cute doing it, this is the way to go! The coat of dust other reviewers have mentioned is purposeful, it's on this product and I've seen it on other things of the same material; it is to keep the plastic from sticking to itself. I wouldn't recommend washing it off with anything other than just plain water and that is not even necessary, just take it out in the rain! :)

I saw this and fell in love, and I knew I had to have it - even for a high price of twenty-eight dollars. However, when I got the umbrella and tried to open it up, the clear (vinyl?) material was all sorts of stuck to itself. With use this lessened slightly, but was still a problem. There was also a dusty coating inside and outside of the umbrella which had to be rinsed off for the material to become clear. The thing I looked most forward to in this umbrella was the depth of it (potentially covering my shoulders and possibly even my bust). Well, not quite the case either - because of the arm(s) mechanism(s) at the top of the inside of the umbrella, the depth is cut short, making it no deeper than many other umbrellas. The umbrella lasted for about a month, which equaled about six or seven points of use. Its demise came when the clear material got stuck to itself again while I was trying to open the umbrella, and one of the bones/arms simply snapped (they appear to have plastic joints instead of metal) irreparably. Overall consensus: $28 is too much for something that is not at all durable, but if you think you can be very (and I mean VERY) careful with it and will put up with it sticking to itself, it makes a great conversation piece and is a point of interest for everyone you walk past while using it.

We're so sorry the Big Fish Umbrella won't be keeping you dry anymore. We work hard to stock quality materials and hate to hear when a defective piece leaves the warehouse and makes one of our customers unhappy. I'll send you an email with more information on your situation.
