This dress was an awesome surprise! I ordered it in both a M and a L since it has a slinkier fit, and the L ended up working the best. Mostly because of the tightness of the sleeves, which I thought sort of odd (typically it's my hips that cause problems). But I felt like it was super-slimming, and it looks awesome with tall brown boots to match the belt! Speaking of which, the belt was the only part that was off on the dress - it's long enough to wrap around twice, but not three times, and I fasten it on the smallest setting after a double-wrap and it's a touch loose. But, it's easy to find another skinny belt that will work (I already own a brown and a yellow one from Target!), so it's not a big deal. I actually plan to wear this dress while I'm wandering around Italy this fall!

Let's start with the slip. It fit me very comfortably; it wasn't too snug. It's a plain black slip and that's the reason that I chose it. I tried putting shirts over it and it looks nice with the shirts. It was short on me (it hit at my lower thigh) but that's probably because I'm a bit self conscious about showing my legs, and I was planning on wearing tights or legging anyways. The top (tunic) is defnitely sheer. I live in the south so it's nice for that period between the summer and fall as well as overcast days in the spring. Unlike the slip, the top was slightly snug on me. Specifically in the sleeves; had my arms been any thicker I probably wouldn't be able to wear it comfortably. With the belt, I could easily tie it around my waist twice. I couldn't do it a third time. Overall I like this dress, plus the shipping was speedy.

All in all, it's a really cute top. The buttons are really pretty, and the fabric is a nice but durable sheer. I love it because you could dress it up or down! Even though I am on the curvy side, it was a good fit and really flattering. The only complaint I think is the belt. It sits right under my bust and is quite snug-it going around twice-so i have worn it without. But...the verdict is...it's a keeper :)
