One chilly Upstate NY night, my parents, brother, sister, and I piled into our Dodge Caravan amid a heap of blankets and wound the roads up to a nature reserve. It was the peak of the Leonids, and we were out to spot some meteors. This spiffy zip up would surely have come in handy that night. I could have engulfed my hands in its front pockets, cinched the drawstring of its cowl neck into a hood, and been cozy as a toasting marshmallow beneath the blanket I shared with my sister. And, during those dark lapses when meteors hid their firework faces, I could have examined the stars, floating bunnies, and planets sparklingly printed upon this pseudo-hoodie's gold-flecked background. Until another meteor shower stripes across the sky, I have another game 'plan-et' for this sweater - I'll slip it on with an A-line dress, gold leggings, and cuffed, flat boots, and take the city by cosmic storm!
