The Gehry Bolero Blouse

This top is named after Frank Gehry. Frank Gehry is a master of incredible design. Therefore, by the law of syllogism, this top is a master of incredible design. They would approve of that kind of theorizing at MIT. What's MIT got to do with it? It's home to Gehry's mind-blowingly awesome Strata Center, which is, in my opinion, the architectural incarnate of this unique bolero. So, where do I see similarities? Everywhere. The variegated ecru, blue, crimson and black stripes of this fine knit are twisted, like the Strata Center, into an unexpected, yet aesthetically astounding form. A diagonal button closure traverses the bust, leading up into the supple curves of a ribbed cowl neck. Bat wing sleeves create a structural outline, and the X shape of the front enhances the curves of the bust. This bolero is built to add interest to the cityscape of any wardrobe.
