The Style Solution Skirt

When it comes to cuts, colors, and compositions, we may find that certain trends just don't suit our body types. Being built like a Coke bottle, I've learned that drapey, loose dresses just look 'blah' on me, and the low cut necklines that some can make suitable for daytime are simply too sultry to don during the daylight in my case. Although sometimes it's just a matter of finding the interpretation of a trend that fits my figure. I've always wistfully admired those sweet skirts with layers and layers of ruffles, knowing they wouldn't be so hot on my hips. This skirt, however, is my style solution! You see, while it does feature terrific tiers of ruffles, these ruffles lay flat against the skirt's satiny lining, creating less bulk than their poofier counterparts. The alternating tan and fallow chiffon adds just the subtlest of stripes to this skirt, while the hidden side zip is craftily concealed by a two button panel of wheat-colored fabric at its waist.
