I have an un-cute confession to make. When I was in middle school, my ensembles consisted mostly of baggy jeans and oversized sweaters that bore stripes of some sort. Oh, when I look back at photographs from that time, how I cringe! Something happened, however, the summer between eighth and ninth grade. I really can't pinpoint what it was, but I was suddenly, irresistibly drawn to sweet skirts, frilly frocks, and ladylike blouses. I was drawn to these garments so much so that I vividly recall a sophomore girl snidely asking me, "Don't you ever just wear jeans?" Well, Miss Sassy Pants, I now not only admire and desire, but also write about gorgeous garments all day long, and it's fabulous! My love affair with utterly feminine fashion is far from over, and this marvelous Mink Pink skirt is right up my alley. The black, cobalt, royal purple, and salmon paisley pattern is so perfectly pretty, while the smocked rear waist and tie-able sash add another subtle splash of sweetness. And, do you know what? I am going to wear this skirt with the girliest of get-ups - lacy tights, elegant heels, a terrific top, and oodles of accessories! Oh, and one more thing - to answer that question, no, I don't ever just wear jeans. -Natalie, Fashion Writer
