I ordered a size up- I'm normally a medium/small, but I'm more straight sided, i.e.- thicker waisted, so I went with large. The fit is perfect. I can comfortable tuck in a blouse and it's very flattering- it draped nicely because of the larger pleating. The midi length is great- uber tough to find without looking granny-ish in a non-chic way. Material is on the lighter side, but it's not a fly away and cheap feeling. If it was lined, it would be perfect! Color is true to the pic: deep crimson, but not quite cranberry. I adore the velvet floral scroll pattern & was hesitant it might look too holiday-ish and seasonal only, but not so.

First off let me say, I love this skirt! I ordered it on a whim along with a few other things thinking it might be a good skirt for Christmas Eve. When It arrived I shook it out, thought "eh, it's not bad" and hung it up. When I finally put in on though....magic! The color and cut are beyond perfect. It is also rare for me at 5'10" to find longer skirts, so that was another plus. I've worn it 3 times so far and gotten compliments every time, a great buy!!

So I ordered a size M, because I was afraid that the narrow waist won't feet me in a size S, and I was right. The skirt looked great om my waist line, but I did not like the length. It was a bit too granny for me... Since the skirt was super cute I decided to try ans shorten it instead of returning it. After making it shorter it looked much much better, and I keep receiving compliments. I must admit that at the beginning I wasn't too pleases, but with all the compliments... well.. Who can resist that :) I attached pics of before and after the snip.
