Okay firstly, the thought that was primarily on my mind when I got the skirt was 'wow this is expensive!' - it IS definitely a splurge!!! But completely and utterly worth it!!! The skirt is so lovely - the print is just a vibrant a seen on the picture and just so beautiful, the cut and hang on the fabric is exemplary! The fabric itself is so light and breezy (and definitely not see-through!), perfect to wear to the beach or a casual lunch date. At the same time the fabric still has enough substance and structure, and the additional length (it sits right on the level of my knees) so that I could easily wear this to work. Fantastic quality, great pattern, perfect fit - I couldn't be happier!!!

I disagree with the earlier reviewer who said the construction is solid. The fabric quality is okay, but the waistband is totally flimsy and stretchy! I would expect a skirt that I paid a small fortune on to at least have an interfaced waistband! This is a case where you are really paying exclusively for the print. The style is nice - it was a little longer than I expected but is still lovely on - I just hope the skirt doesn't fall down due to the completely unstructured waistband!

This is such a beautiful, well-made skirt. The colours are vibrant, the print is adorable, the fabric is lovely... I love it! It does sit a bit high on my waist but still looks really nice. The length is nice, long enough to wear to something a bit more formal (it hits my knees). I really like the sash and the lining. No worries about the skirt being see-through! The only part that isn't absolutely perfect is that the skirt poofs out from the waistband ever-so-slightly. But I think with a bit of wear and adjusting the sash it won't be an issue. A truly beautiful and unique skirt!
