So cute! I love owls, so I couldn't resist ordering this skirt. It's a bit pricey for what it is, but it's just too cute to return. The waistband is elastic, so the skirt can be worn at the natural waist or pulled lower. The jersey is made of organic cotton, and it's skirt is by the same designer that made the Bird of the Earth dress, which I also bought and love.

Well, it's cute as a button and I'm keeping it, but I'll share some thoughts. I'll have to wear this for very casual events as it's even more juvenile looking on me (I'm 32) than it is in the picture. It's not a high enough quality material for the cost, as people warned in past reviews that I unwisely ignored. It's also pretty short, considering that I got the large and I'm 5'2"...not TOO short but not knee-length as I'd hoped. It fits quite well through the waist and hips but again, due to cheapish material, it offers no firmness so I'll definitely need to wear control-top hose or tights.

This skirt runs a little small - around the hip area there isn't a lot of give. I would suggest ordering up a size.
