This is a great quality skirt. It is unlined but honestly doesn't need to be due to the thick material (it is not at all sheer). It does fit a little looser around the waist than other 'high waisted skirts" i own but i do not have a problem with is slipping down to my hips at all. if anything, i find the slightly roomier fit to be a good thing because when i sit in it, it doesn't uncomfortably squeeze my belly. this is a great dressy fall/winter skirt. I am 5'3, 120lbs, and ordered the small.

I have this skirt in a size L and it is so darn cute. It makes me look slightly more hippy then I would like to look, but its so wonderfully comfortable and cute that I just don't care. It sits on my waist and the pockets are a lovely feature.

This might be my favorite ModCloth buy ever. I don't understand the comments about this skirt being too short. I'm 5'8 and it fell just right on me. It's well-made, sturdy and adorable. I have nothing negative to say about it.
