City of Bridges Skirt

Ahh, Pittsburgh - the city of bridges. Contrary to "smoggy steel town" images of yesteryear, Pittsburgh is actually an incredibly diverse city culturally, geographically, and every other -ally you can throw at it. I hold this city near and dear to my heart, so when I found out this stunning skirt was from a local designer, it completely won my affection. That's right - Pittsburgh may not be the first place you think of when it comes to fashion, flair, and up-and-coming designers, but it should be! This hot, high-waisted skirt comes to us from Kelly Lane, who has a knack for clothing with color. This chic skirt is saturated with style, thanks to its elegant, elasticized paper bag waist silhouette, accented by a removable sash, and its bounty of bold hues, including a deep charcoal back, and a khaki facade dappled with geometric truss-like blocks of teal, turquoise, chocolate brown, vibrant gold, sky blue, and pale mint. Eco-friendly materials are used to create each hand-made garment, so I know that this is guilt-free retail therapy. I plan on pairing it with cognac boots, a simple, white tee, a long, gold lariat, a sleek, cropped bomber, and bright tights - all items that accent, but don't compete with, this fabulous skirt.
