What a cute skirt! The fabric is bright and cheery, the waistband is darling and the shape is flattering and comfortable. It's a respectable length and it's also lined, which is nice. The lining isn't so tight that you can't move, which happens sometimes. I would have preferred the waistband to be a dark brown, rather than black, but the brown in the skirt is pretty dark so you can't really tell from a distance. Fits true to size, the medium was perfect on me.

I got a small (my usual size) and its perfect when I wear it at my actual waist, not on my hips. Its supposed to be more high-waisted. I'm 5'4'' and it hits at or slightly below my knee. The fabric is very nice, cotton, and doesn't feel too cheap. The lining however is cheap-looking but you don't see that part anyways and its not itchy. I gave the skirt 4 stars because I did some adjusting to the black part. I thought it was unflattering with being thinner in the middle. So I actually brought down the top part that sticks out and made it straight all the way across the top. I thought it looked wayyyy better. You can see in my picture.

Not perfect quality - there are a few loose threads here and there and the built-in slip is made of the most atrocious material, like crunchy polyester. Once I cut out the slip part (I have my own slips to wear underneath, although the cotton doesn't seem to see-through anyway) the whole skirt was much more comfortable and even had a nicer look to it, less puffy and laid neater around my waist/hips. A lot of people have complained about getting the skirt and not liking the color, but my skirt is the exact same color scheme as the image online, so basically I guess just don't buy the skirt if you don't like the picture. I think this is an adorable and comfortable piece, a really nice summer skirt.
