Buttermilk Falls Shoe
As you coast down Route 13 into Ithaca, NY - a place not so far from where I grew up - you'll glimpse, as Ithacans might say, a 'gorges' sight to the right of the road. Thundering gently down the side of its sloping, rocky base, Buttermilk Falls is a summer hangout as idyllic as a Rococo painting. Beneath the steamy sun of the humid, upstate summer, you'll see the Falls roaring with activity - swimmers splashing in the pool below the falls, bathers bronzing on its damp rocks, hikers hopping up its breezy trail, and so on. It's a place I quite like, and, you know what? I think you'd take a shining to it, too. I'm hoping to make it there this summer. Maybe you'll be able to join? I'll pack a picnic lunch, throw a swimsuit and towel into a tote, and hand you these sweet little Kensie Girl shoes to wear. Their delicate bevvy of navy, saffron, white, and cherry red ribbon, which swoop and angle down the beige fabric sides into a multi-layered bow at the toe, echo the carefree calm of a Buttermilk afternoon. Their wee wedge and vegan-friendly composition make them ideal for a post-picnic stroll in the Commons and an evening dinner at the scrumptious, vegetarian Moosewood Restaurant. Even if you won't be able to join me, I still hope you'll wear these shoes this summer because, take my word for it, they'll be perfect for all your plans! - Hannah, Fashion Writer
