But when you arrived in these creatively colored, faux patent leather heels, a deep rouge pencil skirt, and a sheer, beige blouse, you were satisfied to find yourself sublimely dressed for the open mic event that was occurring! You scribbled a few lines of flash fiction on a napkin, stepped the double Mary Jane straps and thick coral heels of these pumps on stage, and and tickled the ears of other espresso sippers. When you were finished, applause erupted and you smiled coyly with a hand on your hip - for you could just tell that the ovation was also in appreciation of your favorite footwear!
