Evergreen Essential Heel

I just received these shoes today, and have already worn them today! They are comfortable (even straight out of the box!) and adorable--there is some "vintaging" as I call it, or some darkened areas on the shoe to make them look well-loved and worn before. I do not find these smudges of darker color to be unattractive, but rather find that it adds to the overall look of the shoe. They're not one matte color, which I think is charming. They look like your favorite pair of heels from the moment you get them! The shoe is high (so if you don't like very high heels, beware), but has a fair amount of padding in the sole. Very comfy! If you're not a person who likes a tall heel, then you may want to give this a pass. I'm a high heel addict, so this is not a problem for me, but other buyers may want to consider the height before buying. The platform in the shoe is, as someone else noted, completely hidden. Brilliant! The color matches the picture shown here on my RGBLED screen, so bravo, ModCloth! Nothing is more discouraging than ordering a shoe only to find it a different color in person. This shoe is absolutely lovely, and I am SO glad that I bought it! The last thing that I need is more high heels, but this is a fabulous shoe--not only is it a great color and height, but it's way more comfortable than I ever expected. LOVE IT!!! These shoes are unreal. The invisible platform is completely hidden, unlike other "invisible platforms" where you can obviously tell. The material and pattern is really nice, they fit perfect and are comfortable for how high they are and how narrow the heel is. I love wearing these shoes!

Well I've never been THIS happy about a pair of heels. (Enough to swear out loud as soon as I walked in them!) I don't wear heels often, despite the amount I own. So I'm considering these my 'training' heels, just because they are THAT comfortable. Usually they are stiff and hurt on the heel or slip off, or the ball of the foot is too hard. NONE of that with this these girls! They are perfect for people (like me) who want to upgrade to stelleto height but are afraid to. I would reccommend these to anyone. If you have any doubts about by the shoes, it should be about what to wear WITH THEM! :)
