It's no secret that I love boots. Tall boots, short boots, slouchy boots, cowboy boots, combat boots - I love 'em all. It's no secret that I love boots. Tall boots, short boots, slouchy boots, cowboy boots, combat boots - I love 'em all. However, in the interest of less frivolous, sacrificial spending (you know, when you spend too much money on one thing, so you have to go without another - i.e. "If I buy these shoes, I will eat nothing but ramen all week."), I have instituted a new rule for myself in 2010. If I see an item and desperately desire it, but cannot immediately think of three things that are currently in my closet that I can wear with it, then it was never meant to be mine. These delicious caramel colored leather boots, however, are going to be joining my wardrobe. In fact, almost immediately after laying eyes on them, I proclaimed, "I need these." The combination of their amazing almond-shaped toe, short shaft, flat heel, and three gold-studded straps which buckle at the ankle result in a fabulously fierce feat of footwear. These boots have the style wherewithal to wear with all my frilly, floral frocks, and favorite jeans and tees, and sleek all-black ensembles which I'll accent with a matching cognac belt. The plethora of looks that can be created with these beautiful boots is endless, making them a practical and posh selection to any chic shoe collection! -Natalie, Fashion Writer
