The pictures don't show the boot on anyone's foot, so I didn't realize this (although maybe I should have been able to guess from the width of the shaft in the picture), but the shaft of this boot is one of those loose, scrunchy ones, not fitted. It wasn't quite what I was looking for, so I returned it.

These are good looking boots. The heel is a bit tall but not uncomfortable, and the upper is quite tall, so unless you have VERY long legs, expect the boots to bunch around your ankles a bit. I do not have skinny calves by any means, but these boots just fit (many pairs of boots do not accommodate my calves), if you have thinner legs you might think they are too loose. They fit true to size. A steal at the sale price!

I love, love, love these boots. They make me look really tall and lean. The fit is perfect! The heel is a little bit higher than I thought it would be when I first ordered them. It took me about one week of getting used to the height of the heel. Now, I feel very comfortable in them. The only negative point is that they do tend to scrunch and slouch so every now and then I have to pull them up, but overall, it's a great boot. Definitely worth the money!
