At one point in my life, I had a formula of dress. It consisted of a novelty tee, mini skirt, wacky tights with or without knee socks, and black lace-up boots. At one point in my life, I had a formula of dress. It consisted of a novelty tee, mini skirt, wacky tights with or without knee socks, and black lace-up boots. Though I’ve stepped outside of my once-signature look, I still don the boots every so often. They’re getting a little worn, so it may be time for a new pair. Enter these perfect little boots, composed of black faux leather, a chunky heel, a classic round toe, brass grommets, and simple stitching - no nonsense, classic ankle boots that even come with black and red laces to switch up if I’m feeling saucy. I could loosely lace these part way up for an on-trend look, or I could tie them snugly, the bow bobbing as I step down autumn sidewalks, as I did with my old pair. Maybe I’ll mix things up a bit and wear these leather-lined shoes with a sophisticated dress.
