You've got front-row tickets to see your favorite band play tonight. You've been pining for this day for months now, so much so that you claim the only thing worse than a cancellation would be absolutely nothing. It's critical that you look your coolest for the show, so you slip into some floral-patterned, fishnet tights, a black leather miniskirt, and your brightest and boldest vintage tee. Now for the finishing touch - footwear. You know that a Jeffrey Campbell design would never let you down, so you quickly retrieve these slouchy, smoky grey boots from the front of your closet. You fasten them up your calf with the snap enclosures on each side, wrap the studded straps around your ankle a number of times, and give yourself one last glance in the mirror before jetting to the concert. You dance to the music comfortably all night in the low, cowboy-style heel. Then, after the final song of the encore, the bass player, who rumbled ferociously through the set all night, steps over to the front of the stage, kneels down, and calls you out. "All those brass rivets on your boots have really been catching my eye all night," he reveals. "Where'd you get those?" Moments later, you find yourself in the green room with him, sharing a drink, and comparing all of your favorite musicians.
