Cold Hands, Warm Heart Shawl

Anyone who knows me knows that I get really chilly during the winter. From the frozen tip of my nose to my fingers and toes, below freezing temperatures turn me into a huddled ball of "brr!" Yet, I like living in 4-season climates. So, I've learned to layer, and this generously knit, versatile shawl, hand made in Peru, will be the next cold weather piece I'll add to my wardrobe. Nothing can provide me with more warmth than this luxurious, pure wool shawl by Spratters and Jayne, buttoned lovingly at front with two slender, heart-shaped wood buttons. Its thick yarn, rich with the hues of orchid, purple, and indigo, is crafted into row after row of lusciously toasty material, sure to keep me comfortable despite any chill. Ostensibly a shawl to be worn over the shoulders, I also love this item as a voluminous scarf. Draped around the neck, this garment gives any long sleeve and jeans an avant garde air.
