I have to agree with most of the other reviewers. I love the ring because it is so quirky and unique, but the quality is lacking. The octopus is smaller than expected, the tentacles are much thinner than those in the picture, and it is overall of much poorer quality than expected. That being said, I do love it because I have never seen anything like this on anyone else.

I'm really upset that I purchased this ring, but like another reviewer said, it just isn't worth the hassle to return it. I kept forgetting to buy it every time I ordered from Modcloth, and when I finally remembered I was so excited to get it because I had wanted it for months. When it arrived, I took one look at it and was immediately disappointed. This ring is not at all represented by the picture on the site (I got mine in silver). It's extremely shiny, doesn't have that "old" look or feel to it at all. In fact, it feels like something I could have found in a gumball machine. I definitely don't think it's worth the money, I'm sorry Modcloth.

I was quite unsatisfied when I received my ring in silver. The picture is not a good representative of the product, in real life the ring has a dollar store-esque feel to it, it's quite shiny and not at all antique looking, the ring is also quite 2-D and not what so ever as impressive in real life as it is shown in the photo. I was looking forward to wearing this ring, however I have never had it on my finger for more than a minute. This ring is not a good representative of the marvelous merchandise from ModCloth; a lot of things in my closet are from ModCloth and this ring is the only thing that has me bewildered.
