With the sky cut up by jets and ripped open by sonic booms during the city's Fleet Week these past few days, I couldn't help but think of the Wings of Eagles Airshow I used to attend as a kid. It was a fun diversion going to the airfield, seeing the stealth bombers pirouetting through the sky, and looking at old planes, like the ones embroidered in red on this sepia- and white-striped shirt. Planes like these - were those the ones the Wright Brothers flew, Mom and Dad? - possessed a marked feel of worlds past, and since I've got quite the penchant for vintage things, their aesthetic still appeals to me. So, I'm going to take this shirt under my wing, wrap myself the nostalgia-like warmth of its knit, and feel my mood take flight whenever I look upon its fun little aircraft accents. Then, wearing this super sweater with rolled jeans, pointed-toe flats, and a sassy neckerchief, I'll have an so outfit awesome, one might call it 'runway' ready! -Hannah, Fashion Writer
