This famed denim brand from the 70s is back and creating more fab styles, including this pair in a vibrant lemon tone and medium rise. Create a pleasing palette by pairing these bottoms with metallic platforms, a billowy blouse in a pastel hue, and a set of beaded bracelets in a spectrum of shades. These jeans stick out in a crowd more than Angelina Jolie's right leg. Not in a bad way, more in a "who's that sexy girl from the 70's that must have stumbled into a time machine?" kind of way. I'm a size 10 - 12 in Australian and went for a 28 which fit me perfectly. Unlike some jeans I've had, these wont cling to your hips like a needy exboyfriend. The beautiful and strong material has a hint of stretch to it which seem to caress and support your hips and move with the shape of your bum (rather than trying to squash it) then tightly molds to your leg shape, and flares out in a typical 70s fashion just below the knee.

I loved the color, loved the length, but the fit over the thighs/butt was odd. The waist was loose on my hips but the butt and thighs were tight. I returned them and ordered a yellow bathing suit instead...

These jeans were an impulse buy that I sort of regret - because I'm keepin' 'em! I was expecting a bright lemon yellow, but they are actually a softer buttercup color. The denim is very soft with some stretch, but still feels durable. They are going to look and feel awesome during the spring and summer. I have a 29 1/2" waist and initially bought the 29. Although they fit snug around my thighs and butt, the jeans were flattering and I didn't look like I was about burst out of them. Just to be safe, I also tried on the 30 and while they were slightly more comfortable, they also sagged more around my thighs. This style is also longer and more flared than I'm used to - I will definitely need to wear heels or platforms - so I decided to go with the 29. Now I need to find stuff to pair them with! Perhaps my How to Deal Top...
