Bathing Beauty One Piece in Sage

This bathing suit is AMAZING. I hate everything about bathing suits, but I needed something for a trip to Cuba, and thought that it might be nice to invest in something that didn't pain me to put on. That's exactly what this is. I wore it around the house for like half an hour, because I was so delighted with how it fit and looked! For those of you who love the vintage look (I am mad for thrift shopping and old pin-up darlings), this is the ticket. The colour, I was relieved to see, wasn't a pale, silvery sage (which I thought might wash me out), but a rich sage. For those of you who aren't necessarily redheads, but have some orange in there, it's a colour that will complement - I always hate trying to choose colours that don't make me look washed out (super pale) or make my hair look kind of brassy. Quality is great: the fitted bra isn't super shaping, but it will keep you tidy and attractive. Ruching is killer; covers low enough to be flattering, but it's not "dress-length." The fit was lovely: I will caution that you may not want to size up quite as much as some people say that you'll want to. I was worried that a size 16 would be too small, because my measurements were roughly a 40 x 33 x 41.5, but I ordered a 12 hoping to lose a bit of weight and not only did it fit, I bet I could have squeezed into a 10 (before any hypothetical weight loss). I am at LEAST a 10 in my everyday clothes. Curvy girls, this will make you feel hot. Just do it.

My whole extended family complimented me on this suit the first time a wore it to a family cookout and pool party. And it saves me a sun burn on my stomach and back while at the beach =]
