Bathing Beauty One Piece in Light Blue Velvet

I've lost almost 100 pounds in the last few years, and avoided swimming/bathing suits entirely for a long time. I am getting married soon, and we finally booked a tropical, last-minute honeymoon this week. I knew I needed bathingsuit. I scoured the internet, and cursed my taste in expensive onepieces (seriously, every single suit that pops out at me turns out to be $200+), and ended up back here at ModCloth. It's funny how quickly $90 bathing suits can go from "you want me to pay HOW MUCH for that?" to "that's a great price!" once you start looking around. Anyway, I probably ideally should be in a size 12 in this - it was a workout getting it on over my "child-bearin hips"... in fact, for a minute or two, I was convinced I'd have to send it back or just stop eating for the next 11 days. But once I got it over my hips, it was great. I am very very small chested (34/36A) and sometimes that can be tricky, but I think it's going to work really well. I am a loyal Modcloth customer but the items really can be hit or miss... this is a huge hit. Probably the best thing I've ever purchased from modcloth. If you keep coming back to this suit, just go for it. Order a size up, but get it. I almost burst into tears after I did get it on because I've never in my life felt so beautiful in a bathing suit.

You will look adorable in this suit, even (or particularly) if you are not thin. I usually wear a size 12, so I purchased the 14. It was very difficult to get on, so I may have done better with the 16. Once it was on, I thought I looked really cute; retro. The blue color complimented my dark hair. My chest area looked great as well; even bigger with all the gathers.

As others have said, the suit is "very" fitted and hard for a big bootied gal to get on... that said, once I got it on it was perfect! I still have a bit of a baby tummy left after having my 3rd son (who is now 4 lol) and it was non existent in this suit! love it!
