This is my go-to necklace. I wear it at least 4-5 times a week, and I constantly get compliments on it. The chain, as with most less expensive jewelry, is of low quality and likes to break on a very regular basis. It's not a big deal as long as you're willing to put the links back together, but it is good to note. It does not stop me LOVING this necklace, though.

This was the first gift my (now) husband gave me during our courtship. I'll spare everyone the sappy story of why ^_^! I love, love, love this necklace, and I wore it the day we married this past spring. It's a "statement" necklace without being massive, and can definitely be dressed up or down. It's a go-to piece that is in constant rotation that it never really makes it back into the jewelery box! Though I do agree that it would look nice with a more delicate chain, I've had absolutely no issues with it breaking or rusting.

Honestly, Mrs., I would love to hear the story of why your husband gave you this beautiful necklace! I love sappy stories. :) (My favorite thing to do when it's cold and snowing out is to curl up with a good romantic book!) I think that the photo that you've shared with us is beautiful, and you two look so happy! Thanks so much for sharing with us.

I have this necklace in silver and just adore it. I can wear it with so many different outfits. The chain on it makes it easy to change the length which makes it very versatile. I get compliments on it all the time.
