Just so people know: the pearls on this thing are HUGE. Way bigger than your typical costume jewelry. You will feel like Mr. T of pearl bling. Also, one of the strands on my necklace arrived broken--not cool. That said, I pulled off the busted strand and have worn this thing out in public. As long as you rock it, and play it up a bit "campy" it works. I have received some compliments for it, and I do like it in a hilarious accessory sort of way, so I am overall happy with my purchase.

very nice necklace, but if you're under 5 foot tall- forget it. bought it as a gift for my 4'9" sister and it looked like she was playing dress up. If you're average height and like lots of accessories- fufill your Auntie Mame fantasies with this necklace!

I love this necklace! It's certainly bold & makes a statement. And it's suprisingly light. I own another multi-strand pearl necklace that is not nearly as long with beads that are much smaller, and it is at least twice as heavy as this one. If you're a fan of pearls, this is a definite must!
