I put this on as soon as it came in the mail, and have gotten comments about it all day: "Is that a deer? How neat!" I like the darker metal color, and also think the size is perfect; small enough to be dainty, but large enough to be noticed. Only drawback is that I thought it would be completely smooth, but the deer head has some texture that I wasn't expecting, and am not sure is intentional. But for the price, great value, and it's lead and nickel free, so if you have sensitive skin like me, don't hesitate! It's adorable!

I absolutely love this necklace!! I was worried when I had ordered it that it would be bigger than expected. It was the perfect size. The deer head isn't at all gaudy. The color is a really dark beautiful metallic. And tt doesn't feel cheap. Also the length of the necklace is adjustable (which can make all the difference while wearing it.) Highly recommend!

Overall I'm very, very happy with this purchase. I fell in love with the little guy while he was sold out and as soon I saw he was back in stock, I had to have him! I love the color, texture, and length of chain (seems super durable and definitely worthe the cost); however, I was -really- surprised at how small the pendant is! At first I wasn't sure if I had gotten the right necklace (which would've been bizarre because Modcloth has NEVER fudged anything up)... but the little guy IS adorable and I DO love him. I'm wearing him right now and he is definitely spicing up my simple outfit!
