Stand By Me Jacket

I never met a jacket that makes me feel the way that this one does - it's alright! I don't know about you (and I didn't grow up in the 60's), but I personally love the pop-influenced soul music sound of the Motown era! Whether I am dancing to a mix of Motown jams while making breakfast on a lazy weekend, listening to it when writing an inspired product description, or revisiting it while driving a long distance road trip, the soulful sounds of Motown music make everything better. And as much as I love The Temptations, I also swoon for a temptingly versatile garment. Case in point: this chocolately mousse-colored masterpiece that stands out from the rest, with a motorcycle zip that stealthily slides at an angle to the top of its voluminous collar! It's simple enough to wear on a regular basis, but stylish enough with its bronzed gold zip, detailed sleeves, and pockets to show off an individual flair each way I style it. You know how sometimes you know exactly what you are going to wear something with? I have the perfect vision of my first outfit featuring this jacket - simple and chic, like the jacket itself. I'll pull it over top of a bandeau styled retro floral maxi dress, and show off my boho chic look while waltzing around all day in a pair of casual military-inspired boots. And on that day, if the sky we look upon should tumble and fall, if all the mountains should crumble to the sea, I won't shed a tear, just as long as this jacket stands by me! -Julie, Fashion Writer
