Mojave Desert Jacket

The bright lights of Vegas are barely visible as you head west in your open air sport utility vehicle. You pull the zipper of this khaki jacket all the way to the top, button up the overlapping row of buttons, and throw up the large hood to fight the early morning chill of the desert. Soft ribbing along the hem of this 100% cotton jacket and a full, silky lining keep your upper half snug, while your neck is protected from wind and sand thanks to a matching, ribbed, stand-up collar. Later on, you're making good time cruising Highway 95, but the road's black asphalt and the high noon sun heat you up. Luckily, your jacket's hood is detachable, so you remove it and roll up your button clasped sleeves. You reach your destination, Death Valley National Park, excited and eager to stretch your legs and explore the wilderness. During your hike you find an a set of interesting petroglyphs, which you store in your convenient side pockets before setting up camp at the base of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
