So- after reading the other reviews, I took the risk about bought the coat.... sadly, the other reviewers were right. The coat is super snug. I'm a 12-14 and bought an XL and it doesn't come close to fitting. Super cute- well made, though it doesn't have a lining. I wouldn't recommend this if you are pear shaped. Sadly, I'll have to take it back.

I'm 5'6"-ish, 125-ish lbs, 32C/34C and normally wear a medium. I got a medium in this coat and it fits well. It is very soft material, like fleece or sweatshirt material. I don't think it would merit a 3 out of 5 on a warm coat scale - it's pretty thin, and definitely doesn't block a chilly breeze. But it will be good for cool fall and spring days in the shade. It's just so soft, I couldn't bear to give it up.

I love this coat! It's super soft, warm, and flattering. It's perfect for fall in northern Indiana, when worn over a light sweater. It does run a little small, so you might want to size up. I usually fit into a ModCloth L, but the XL in this coat fits perfectly (I'm 5'6" and between a standard size 10 and 12).
