A dome-shaped vehicle comes to a halt along a deserted, dusty highway as electronic gongs and a feeble synthesizer melody create a sonic backdrop. Two gullwing doors rise from this machine, hatching two ramshackle and road-weary travelers wearing retro-futuristic garb that hints at both Western and biker influences. When they enter the roadside tent for which they stopped to investigate, they discover an arcade of electronic devices - televisions, recording equipment, jukeboxes - from an era with which they're unfamiliar. Sounds like the start to a dystopian science fiction movie, right? Nope! What I just described is the music video for "You Got Lucky" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and it was this four-minute long visual and aural journey that seemed to set the perfect scene for this striking piece of outerwear. Cut slim to hug your form and with a motorcycle-style, off-center front zipper, this denim-stretch jacket's faded black wash and futuristic-looking, pewter-colored pyramid stud embellishments would look completely in place covering up a character in a nomadic gang of your own. And when you wear it with black skinnies, ankle booties, and a bold belt slung around your hips, you'll know that you're fortunate to have found this totally timeless, edgy style that can be worn during a nighttime excursion through the desert on your scooter, or to a performance of your favorite rock 'n' roll band! -Richard, Fashion Writer
